During a career of 35 years in both the Canadian Forces and the Federal Government, Gilles Croze received the highest standard of training in the police and security fields. He gained extremely valuable experience in these fields at both the worker and supervisory levels recognized through early promotions and highly responsible assignments. His duties included complex and sensitive operations at the administrative and operational levels in Canada and abroad, dealing with the public, staff and the highest level of authorities.
Croze has served in very complex and demanding roles in Canada and abroad, as a member of the Military Police of the Canadian Forces, as Regional Director of Security for Revenue Canada and more recently as a Security Consultant to all levels of governments and corporations of all sizes and profiles.
During the period of 1998 to present, he formed his own Security and Safety Consulting Company, Croze Consulting Services Inc. (CSS), in Delta, BC. Croze brings his over 40 years of experience in the security, safety and police fields to the company. He has worked on projects and investigations for his own clients at various levels of business and governments.
Croze delivers expert services in support of his clients' needs and requirements through a variety of means, including:
- Conducting Threat Risk Assessments, Design and Site Briefs.
- Conducting investigations in support of internal policies and regulations.
- Conducting due diligence investigations; and company or personal background investigations.
- Executive and close protection operations.
- Conducting Business Resumption and Risk Management Planning.
- Developing and implementing policies, regulations and programs.
- Participating in the design and implementation of security systems.
- Consulting and developing Security and Safety Operations Programs.
- Designing and conducting training and coaching in support of Security and Safety Operations.
- Acting as a Guest speaker on security and safety issues to security professionals, organizations and social-educational groups and societies.
Some of his recent clients have been Public Works and Government Services Canada where he conducted a Threat/Risk Assessment; Citizenship and Immigration Canada for whom he conducted a review and re-write of the CIC Threat/Risk/Assessment (TRA) Policy to design and develop a more effective TRA Program and provided a training program that was delivered to all Departmental Security Officials; and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans and Environment Canada for whom he conducted, amongst other things, a Business Resumption Plan for the Pacific Regional Headquarters for DFO. Past clients also include Health Canada, CBSA, Bombardier, Pacific Press, Translink, CanWest, the City of Vancouver, Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Canada and the British Columbia Lotteries Commission.
