Marcel Delage has spent 38 years as a member of the Canadian Forces Military Police branch. In this time he has reached the rank of Chief Warrant and become an Officer Commissioned from the Ranks (Captain).
For the last 12 years, he has been worked in administration, formation, development and perfection of personnel, specifically Military Police personnel.
As an Officer in Charge of an Army Reserve Military Police Training Group for the Canadian Forces Military Police Academy, ensured the satisfactory needs of human resources, logistics, administrative and academic support. He also maintained control of over the development of course content, planned the courses and managed and administered over 30 instructors and support personnel.
As an investigator and instructor for the Canadian Forces, he perform specialized duties related to security of personnel, assets, resources and counter intelligence, including nuclear security, conducting personnel reliability and liability investigations, conducting detailed physical security surveys investigations, investigating security violations and was part of the advice chain of command on all security issues, including physical security and counter intelligence.
Delage has taken an active role in his professional formation, taking numerous law enforcement, security and counter intelligence courses. These include taking a Harassment Prevention and Resolution course, a Police Administration Course Summary Trial and a Presiding Officer course.
