The Defence Production Act requires all persons examining, possessing, or transferring certain controlled goods in Canada, such as munitions specifically designed for military use; items considered as strategic goods, such as global navigation satellite systems; and missile technology to be registered by the Government of Canada or be exempt from such registration.
